Coverage of the photometric and spectroscopic observations across the Sculptor dwarf spheroidal galaxy. The solid (black) square denotes the full coverage of the CTIO 4m/MOSAIC fields. The (blue) open circles show the stars observed in the VLT/FLAMES low resolution Ca ii triplet survey (Battaglia 2007; Starkenburg et al. 2010).
