Left panel. Solid line represents the distribution of the critical X-ray luminosity, L_X,crit/L_Edd, below (above) which the X-ray emission is thought to be jet (RIAF) dominated (Yuan & Cui 2005). Black dots represent the distribution of L_{2−10   keV}/L_Edd for our sample of 10 LINER 1s (Paper I). Only NGC 2787 and the three lowest flux NGC 4278 observations have lower L_{2−10   keV}/L_Edd than the critical one. Right panel. Our LINER 1s data points superimposed over the Yuan et al.
