Positive and negative correlations between αox and the Eddington ratio for our sample of AGN-powered LINERs (Sect. 3.2) and a sample of type 1 AGN (Lusso et al. 2010), respectively. The crosspoint at Lbol/LEdd ≈ 10-2.8 might suggest a transition from a high/soft state AGN where a thin accretion disk exists to a low/hard state LLAGN where a RIAF forms.
