Fragmentation parameter κ of the power-law population. For increasing inhomogeneity, indicated by the standard deviation φσ, the fragmentation parameter decreases. This indicates shallower slopes of the power-law mass distribution which is interpreted as an increasing fraction of smaller fragments. For φσ ≥ 0.02, the higher impact velocity results in smaller values of κ.
