Examples of statistic of the bispectrum over 100 scans obtained in the high SNR (left) and low SNR (right) regimes. The horizontal and vertical axes are the real and imagery parts of the bispectrum respectively (arbitrary unit). The phase of the bispectrum is free of fringe modulation and atmospheric piston terms, and points toward the closure phase. The closure phase average (solid line) and standard deviation (dashed lines) are estimated with the bootstrapping technique. Figure 3 contains typical interferograms corresponding to these measurements.
