Incoming diabatic potential H11 for Kr3+ + H (thick solid line), and diabatic potentials H22 for six exit channels of Kr2+ + H+ + ΔE corresponding to and molecular symmetries (all listed states have an [Ar] 4s2 4p3 core). The intersections of the incoming and outgoing potentials correspond to the avoided crossing distances Rx for each exit channel. The potential energies are shifted by taking H11(∞) = 0.
