Ratio of the extrapolated () over Herschel total IR luminosity as a function of redshift, for all clean GOODS–Herschel galaxies. is computed by normalizing the main sequence SED to the broadband photometric measurement at λ. The 5 passbands used for the extrapolation are, from the top to bottom, Spitzer MIPS–24 μm, Herschel PACS–100 μm & 160 μm, Herschel SPIRE–250 μm & 350 μm. is measured using the full set of Herschel measurements at rest-frame wavelengths λ > 30 μm to normalize the main sequence SED and by integrating over 8–1000 μm. Black triangles: AGN. The solid lines with error bars are the sliding median and the 16th and 84th percentiles around it. Upper panel: SED of M82 and MIPS 24 μm filter at z = 0.25, 0.9, 1.4, 2.
