The scale heights of the merger-induced thick disk and stellar excess as function of radial distance in units of disk scale length, r/rd, for dissipationless minor mergers with three different baryonic central mass concentrations of the merging satellite. The mass of the satellite is the same, but the central volume density is 50% higher (dE0m, dashed lines) or 50% lower (dE0l, dotted lines) than in the reference satellite dE0 (solid lines).
