The internal identification scheme within AUTOSTRUCTURE likely mislabeled the Se2+ 4s2 4p 4d and 4s 4p31D2 terms, leading to the large discrepancies in calculated vs. experimental energies. If the identifications are exchanged, the energy agreement improves significantly.

(b)

Since we did not compute the electronic structure of Se7+, it was not possible to calculate the ionization potential of Se6+.
