Temporal zoom in on the collision between three clumps (planetesimals) in the moderate resolution run M2. Two clumps with a radial separation approximately 0.05H shear past each other, bringing their Hill spheres in contact (first two panels). The clumps first pass through each other (panels three and four), but eventually merge (fifth panel). Finally a much lighter clump collides with the newly formed merger product (sixth panel).
