O-Na (top) and O-Al (bottom) anti-correlations are shown for the giant stars of NGC 6397. Superimposed are the theoretical predictions for the chemical composition of the matter out of which second generation low-mass stars are expected to form. The tracks correspond to the cases of 20, 40, 60, and 120 M polluter stars for a minimum value of 0.2 for the dilution coefficient.
