The points show the measurements on the NTT/NOT spectra, where the error bars include both statistical and systematic errors. The different symbols show two categories: spectra identified as of the normal SNe Ia subtype by SNID (SuperNova IDentification; Blondin & Tonry 2007) or spectra identified as SNe Ia but of unknown subtype.
