Comparison of observations to synthetic wavelength shifts of Fe i lines, computed from 3D hydrodynamic models for dwarfs and giants. The computed differences between the lineshifts in giant and dwarf models is shown as crosses, and the observations as squares. The calculated shifts include the average expected contribution of the gravitational redshift of 382 m s-1.
