Quadtree mesh for a disc configuration. The disc parameters are those of model (b) described in Sect. 5.2 (see also Tables 2 and 4). The mesh refinement parameter η (Eqs. (7) and (8)) has been set to the high value 10^-3 in order to obtain a coarse mesh more easily represented.
