The Local Group galaxy M 33. This color image shows the GALEX FUV data that trace young stars and dust in the disk through attenuation. Overlaid are the observed fields a) using the IRAM 30 m Pico Veleta telescope in the CO(2–1) line (thick white outline) and b) by HIFI/PACS instruments as part of the HERM33ES Herschel Key Program (thin yellow stripe).
