The results of photometry of disk stars in the galaxy IC 1613 are
presented. The position of the red giant branch allowed us to measure the
distance to the galaxy , as well as metallicity
([Fe/H] = -1.75) and age
) of disk stars. The variation of
the surface density of red giants depending on the distance from the
center of the galaxy has been found. Rough estimate of the total number of
red giants in the galaxy and total disk mass are presented.
Key words: galaxies: individual: IC 1613 / galaxies: photometry / galaxies: stellar content
