We consider the influx of a collinear stream of interstellar particles
(ISPs) into the Solar System for the case where non-gravitational forces are
negligible (particle size
m) and model their Keplerian
trajectories to yield the expected heliocentric orbits on impact with the
Earth. The heliocentric orbital characteristics of such a stream of ISPs
undergo cyclic seasonal variations allowing the determination of the stream
inflow direction and far-Sun speed the orbit element signatures.
