Department of Physics, University of Bombay, Bombay 400098, India
Accepted: 14 November 2000
We show that the hard X-ray emission from the X-ray source LSI +61303 can be due to inverse Compton scattering of optical photons from the Be star by the relativistic electrons responsible for the observed radio emission.
