SuperWASP observations of pulsating Am Stars
Am (metallic line stars) are A stars whose spectrum absorption lines are composed of metals. Many A stars are pulsating and show photometric light variations; however, only very few pulsating Am stars have been known so far. Situation has changed dramatically by this article performing a photometric survey of 1200 known Am stars and discovering about 200 new pulsators.
