Intensity images (left), molecular maps of H₂O and CO (centre), and cross-correlation functions (right) for our observations of AF Lep b, HR 8799 e and c, and HR 2562 B. Both molecules are detected for all four companions at S/N≥5. The cross-correlation function with a telluric template demonstrates that the extracted companion spectra are effectively free of tellurics and that the detections of H₂O are therefore genuine.
