Retrieved posterior distributions for the validation test for the adapted version of CROCODILE. The atmospheric parameters are described in Sect. 3.2. We selected the target AF Lep b for this test due to the extensive wavelength coverage of the archival data available for this target, with VLT/SPHERE data in the YJH bands, VLTI/GRAVITY data in the K band, and multiple photometric datasets in the L and M bands. The different colours refer to four variations of this retrieval: in blue, the fit excludes all K-band data; in orange, the fit additionally includes ERIS/SPIFFIER cross-correlation spectroscopy; in magenta, the fit includes VLTI/GRAVITY data but not the ERIS/SPIFFIER data; and in green, the fit includes all data.
