Dedicated SPT-3G observations of the EDF-S (blue outline) were taken from October to December 2024. SPT-3G observations of the Main (purple outline), Summer (green outline), and Wide (red shade) fields total approximately 10 000 square degrees of sky coverage. The background image is a dust map from Planck (Planck Collaboration 2016a), and the Dark Energy Survey (indicated as DES) footprint is also shown (orange dotted outline).
