Synthetic spectra in the K band for molecules present in the Earth’s atmosphere, calculated for an airmass of 1, and an IWV of 1 mm for water. The first, second, and third panels show the spectra of the dominant species CO2, CH4, and H2O, while the fourth panel shows the less dominant contributors N2O and CO. The bottom panel shows the combined spectrum.
