Schematic representation of the origins and eventual locations of ULX progenitors and ULXs in GCs. Progenitors can either form and remain bound to the cluster, leading to in-cluster ULX emission (“INCLUSTER”), or be dynamically ejected and emit as ULXs outside the cluster (“ESCAPER”). Additionally, ULXs originating and emitting in the field (“FIELD”) represent progenitors formed without direct interaction with cluster dynamics.
