Notes. Rough order of magnitude expected peak energy demands for AtLAST. Of this, up to 85% of the 1.7 MW peak drive will be recoverable, while AtLAST’s energy recovery system is expected to also be able to shave the peak demand from the drives (see Kiselev et al. 2024).
