Characteristic hodograms of the magnetic field vector in the Bt − Br plane of Mβ (left panels) and Hβ (right panels) simulations at radial layers of two given values of the ambient plasma β: β = 0.5 (top panels) and β = 1.5 (bottom panels). The hodograms are built similarly to the one in Fig. 13, with the difference that the dependence is on θ instead of ϕ.
