Log normalized contribution functions, G(T, n_e) of the Ca XIV 193.87 Åand Ar XIV 194.40 Å (left column), and the Fe XVI 262.98 Å/S XIII 256.69 Å (right column) composition diagnostic pair convolved with the DEM for the flaring looptop at 16:09 UT, 16:44 UT and 19:14 UT, representative of the flare peak, early decay phase and the late decay phase. It can be seen that the majority of plasma emit at log(T) ∼6.7–6.9 K.
