Same as in Fig. 6 but for the lateral part of the filament eruption that crosses the slit S2 (see Fig. 2). What is remarkable here is the detection of strongly blueshifted plasma contained in the filament. Again, the optical thickness profiles help visualize in more detail the characteristics of the fast, main, and slow components of the erupting material.
