Examples of visually classified mergers (Goulding et al. 2018) and non-mergers (this work) at different redshifts. The HSC-SSP DR3 i-band cutouts have an approximate physical size of 160 kpc and have been resized to 160 × 160 pixels. An arcsinh inverted grey scale is used.
