Table A.1.

Summary of detection thresholds for complex absorbers. Column (1) gives the percentile of sources, and column (2) gives the corresponding Bayes factor purity threshhold. Column (3) gives the resulting assumed number of false detections, obtained from multiplying the purity by the total number of sources (199). Column (4) gives the number of sources in the sample with Kwa values greater than the value given in column (2) and where the model provides the best fit to the data. Column (5) gives the assumed number of true detections in the eFEDS hard X-ray–selected sample of 200 sources.
