Real space and phase space distribution in the top and bottom row, respectively, of a dwarf forming in the radial infall merger configuration C0 for three different snapshots in its evolution with 0.6 Gyr between consecutive panels. The stellar content of the dwarf, identified at the moment of the middle panel, is traced in red. The integrated surface density of the gas is visualized in blue, while stars are plotted in yellow and gray in real and phase space, respectively. This figure is complementary to Fig. 4.
