Image of a 25° × 25° region of the sky near the Galactic center in the 4–12 keV energy band, obtained by convolving the raw photon images with the optimal matched filter, in Galactic coordinates. Some bright sources are labeled. The faintest sources in this region that have been been included in the ARTSS1-5 catalog have fluxes ~3 × 10−12 erg s−1 cm−2.
