Parameter C_rot for different initial accretion rates, ${\dot{M}}_{init}$ $\[\dot{M}_{\text {init }}\]$ . We use C_rot to compare the ratios of the initial stellar rotation periods and the rotation periods after the disk phase. The coloured lines correspond to the same X-ray luminosities as in Fig. 3. The horizontal dashed line indicates a value of C_rot = 0.01.
