Orbital separations and temporal resolutions providing the best quality imaging of the source. The EHI system consists of three 4.0-metre antennas with standard system parameters; the EHI+ system consists of three 15.0-metre antennas with more optimistic noise parameters. Simulated observations at 230, 560 GHz, and 5 THz image the M87* shadow; simulated observations at 43 GHz image M87* and NGC 1052 jets.
