Large-scale spatial distribution of the O stars and runaways originating from NGC 6618. We include for context the candidate OB stars in the Reed (2003) catalogue. Their markers are coloured according to their A_V with the colour-bar on the left. For the entire field, we show a number-density map coloured according to the Gaia source density with the colour-bar on the right. Each pixel is 1.2′ by 1.2′ in size. We show for context the location of M 17 and M 17 EB with the solid and dashed white circle, respectively.
