Notes. The binary mass ratio µbin = M2/Mbin and eccentricity ebin were chosen from Kepler-413 for the fiducial model ‘fid’ and varied for the parameter investigation ‘par’. The overall planet mass mp is stated in units of Mbin. The planets were initialized with orbital eccentricities ep ranging from 0.0 to 0.9 with a step width of Δep and a varying distance at pericentre with a step width of Δrperi in units of abin. The relative argument of periastron between the planet and binary orbit Δω was set to the least stable value.
