R and I band lightcurves of SN1998bw and SN2006aj placed at the redshift of GRB 211227A. Along with our FORS2 I-band limit the magnitude limit for the R-band observation with the Lijiang 2.4 m telescope from Lü et al. (2022) is reported. As a comparison we also outlined the deepest limits for the optical observations described in Sect. 3.2.
