Notes. Binary fraction parameters obtained by using the new methodology presented in this work (and the RLOF approximation). Column 1 lists the galaxies. Column 2 the γ parameter (see Eq. (7)) that returns realistic confidence intervals; Col. 3 the binary fraction resulting from the median of the PDFs. Columns 4–6 the uncertainty range that correspond to 1σ, 2σ, and 3σ confidence levels respectively. Column 7 the binary fraction resulting from the mode of the PDFs; Cols. 8–10 the highest density intervals of the PDFs corresponding to 1σ, 2σ, and 3σ confidence levels, respectively.
