Superimposition of the simulated dynamic flux rope (in yellow) on co-temporal 131 Å images. The origin and rise of the simulated flux rope roughly match the observed ones. The eastward movement of the eastern feet of the simulated MFLs of the flux rope and the observed brightenings are also apparent. The simulation time is given in the panels, while the corresponding time for the AIA images in UT is given in the parentheses. An animation of this figure is available online.
