Search for the Chiron’s rings proposed by Ortiz et al. (2015) with the properties given by Sickafoose et al. (2020) using the SAAO data obtained during the November 28th 2018 occultation. The gray regions indicate the ring’s expected positions from Ortiz et al. (2015). The left (resp. right) panel presents the data before (resp. after) the occultation by the main body.
