Notes. The FOV for the SDSS images used in this work is . The science images retrieved from the HLA are (re)sampled and aligned north up using the DrizzlePac (Gonzaga et al. 2012) and MultiDrizzle (Koekemoer et al. 2003) software packages. For the 104 sample galaxies, we used the full WFPC2 mosaic images.
