ΛI, II, III are the normalized autocorrelations of the azimuthally averaged turbulent latitudinal velocity on the orbital plane integrated over an arbitrary radial domain, expressed in units ab, and interpreted as the associated typical convective eddy scale. The superscript 140−250 indicates a time average on the interval 140 ≤ t/Porb ≤ 250. More details are provided in Sect. 3.6.4.
