A D-shaped dark hole for the MagAO-X PAPLC. The inner-working angle is 1.5 λ/D and the outer-working angle is 15 λ/D. The white border indicates the area that is nulled by iEFC. The left figure shows the speckles before control and the right figure after control. The brightest speckles before control are saturated. Most of the dark hole after control is below a contrast of 10⁻⁷.
