Radiative heating rate (Eq. (6)) for the four different dust species are shown compared to the (maximum) heating rate of the dust grains via collision with the ambient gas (Eq. (12)), for day 800 and a grain size of 0.01 µm. As it shows, the dust temperatures are controlled by the radiative heating only; that is also the case for other epochs and grain sizes as well.
