Schematic picture (not to scale) of the nonlocal inhomogeneous jet as seen by an external observer. The jet has a truncated conical shape in a range of distances from the SMBH between z0 = 0 and zmax. The inner radius of the jet at the jet base is R0. Electrons are accelerated in the part of the jet between z0 and zend. We follow their cooling in different processes up to zmax = 10zend. The half-opening angle of the jet is equal to ϕ. The jet is observed at an angle θobs that can be larger or smaller than ϕ.
