Table 1

LPF prelaunch minimum (top panel) and maximum (middle panel) cosmic-ray energy spectrum predictions.

Minimum cosmic-ray flux predictions for LPF (φ = 800 MV c−1)

Particle A b α β

p 18 000 1.54 3.67 0.88
He 850 0.91 3.60 0.85

Maximum cosmic-ray flux predictions for LPF (φ = 350 MV c−1)

Particle A b α β

p 18 000 0.88 3.68 0.89
He 850 0.7 3.23 0.48

Cosmic-ray flux during the LPF mission operations in April 2016 (φ = 468 MV c−1)

Particle A b α β

p 18 000 1.25 3.66 0.92
He 850 0.74 3.68 0.85

Notes. The parameterizations were carried out according to the function F(E) = A(E + b)−αEß particles (m2 sr s GeV n−1)−1. Estimates of the cosmic-ray energy spectra in April 2016, when the TM charging measurements were carried out with LPF, are reported in the bottom panel.
