Distribution of the EROS-2 and MACHO magnitude difference Δm = mBE − mBM as a function of the EROS-2 blue magnitude mBE for the 14.1 million associated objects; the values of mBM are derived from the original MACHO magnitudes using a first-degree color equation, so as to match the EROS blue magnitudes on average. As a result, the mean value of Δm varies by a few percent depending on the color of the sources, in particular between the main sequence and the red giants branch (around mBE = 18.8). White dots and bars show the average and standard deviations of Δm for each mBE slice. The color scale is expressed in millions of objects per squared magnitude.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
