Spin period as a function of time as observed in May 2021 for the two eccentric binary pulsars NGC 1851D (left) and NGC 1851E (right). The former is in a 5.69-d orbit with an eccentricity of 0.86. The latter is in a 7.44-d orbit with an eccentricity of 0.71.
