Full-scale Gaia EDR3 colour-magnitude diagram (CMD) (grey dots) with the known hot subdwarfs from Geier (2020) (magenta circles) highlighting the Gaia EDR3 CMD region where hot subdwarfs are expected. Here we can see the EHB cluster of sources at (GBP – GRP) ~ –0.35, Gabs ~ 4.5 and the extended cloud of hot subdwarf plus main sequence binaries towards (GBP – GRP) ~ 0.5, Gabs ~ 3.0.
