Snapshots from a simulation by Vazza et al. (2021) (not tailored to exactly reproducing the galaxy group presented in this work) showing the evolution of a cloud of AGN remnant plasma in a cluster environment: the radio emission at 140 MHz is shown overlaid with the contours of X-ray emission. The formation of a radio structure similar to the ‘F1’ source in NGC 507 happens in the lower part of each panel.
